Carole L. (Olivit) Miller

CAROLE L. MILLER age 75, beloved wife of 55 years to Barry R., dear mother of Sharon Ott (Steve), Scott Miller (Judy), and Suzanne Brody (Robert), sister of Keith Olivit, grandmother of Jared, Zack, Nathan (Skye), Paulette, Allman, Jonnie and Thomas, great grandmother of four, cousin of Elaine Wiltshire. Carole passed away quietly on Wednesday morning, July 25, 2018, after a brief but tragic illness. A lifelong Clevelander, Carole grew up in South Euclid, graduated from Brush High School, and attended Baldwin Wallace College, where she met her husband Barry. Having three children, Carole spent much of her time in the home devoted to the family, and supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their various endeavors. Passionate about the outdoors, Carole enjoyed camping and canoeing with the family. She had a green thumb and was an avid gardener. Her other interests include volunteering for children’s causes; most recently she enjoyed being a reading buddy at Guidestone Elementary School in Berea. Carole was also active in her church, Christ United Church in Olmsted Falls. Carole’s greatest love in recent years was sewing and embroidery. Her embroidered articles adorn the family’s home in Berea. Carole leaves behind an extended family and an entire community who mourn her loss. Friends may call on SUNDAY JULY 29 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the BAKER OSINSKI KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME 206 FRONT ST. BEREA. Memorial service Monday July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ United Church 23114 West St. Olmsted Falls, Ohio 44138. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
