Richard Boulter Obituary

RICHARD N. BOULTER, of Berea, OH, passed away peacefully on January 16th 2018 at the age of 92.  Born in Cambridge, MA on November 12, 1925, Richard was the son of the late Percy and Elsie (Robbins) Boulter. Richard, beloved husband of Nancy (Ardiff), loving father of Jeffrey N. (Cathy), Kenneth A. (Nancy) and David R. (Lisa), dear grandfather of nine and great grandfather of two, brother of the late Alan Boulter (June). Richard was a 1945 graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with honors at the top of his class.  Richard went on to serve in the US Navy,retiring as a WWII veteran with the rank of LT Commander. After a successful career in the automotive rubber industry, Richard retired in 1989 at the age of 63.  Richard,full of life, spent summers in Rockport, MA and winters at the family home in Berea, OH. He enjoyed a lifelong passion,of sailing and skiing with family and friends.  A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm with Prayers and Remembrances starting at 3:00 pm at the United Methodist Church (Gathering Place) of Berea, located at 170 Seminary St, Berea, OH 44017.  A second celebration will take place at a later date, in Massachusetts.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Richard N.
