Anna (Zolmerchik) Abood

Anna Abood, 93, Passed away on February 19, 2026. 

Born in Cokeburg, Pennsylvania, she was a resident of Columbia Station since 1978, Anna had been employed with Ohio Bell (AT&T) as a Systems Analyst, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Anna enjoyed gambling excursions and gardening in her flower beds 

Preceded in death by her husband Chester Abood, parents John and Anna Zolmerchik, two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her son Larry and Gretchen Harlow, grandson’s Eric, Jared and Zacary, great grandchildren Jacey, Parker and Madeline.

Father John Singler will conduct a Funeral Mass on Wednesday February 25, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Following the mass will be internment at Woodvale Cemetery Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
