Born in 1949 in Bucyrus, Ohio, Beverly grew up with her aunts and cousins, watching her uncle Dick Stine race at the Attica and Sandusky Speedways. She met Randall Hill while attending Strongsville High School and they married in 1969. After moving to Columbia Station, Beverly and Randy became members of Columbia United Methodist Church. For over 40 years, Beverly loved to sell Avon and spend time with her customers and fellow sales representatives, many of whom became very dear friends.
She began bowling twice a week with her mother, Gertrude, and continued the sport for 35+ years. For many years, Beverly could be found at the lake on the weekends, enjoying the islands and boating. She loved going to garage sales, especially with her aunt Ruthie, cousin Cathy and daughter Melissa, where they found little treasures and great deals. She also loved talking about her kids, granddaughter, great-granddaughter Aubrey, and trained therapy grand dogs Linus Lowell and Roman. Her most cherished time was spent with her granddaughter and great-granddaughter, teaching them family traditions and handing down recipes. Most of all, she loved sitting in her gazebo, lovingly built by Randy, with her cat Abbey, listening to the baseball games, watching the birds, and enjoying the wildlife.
Beverly is preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Barnes (Carrick), Earl Barnes, and son Jason. She is survived by her husband, Randall, children Mark (Sandi), Michelle, Melissa, granddaughter Samantha (David Scott), and great-granddaughter Aubrey Scott.
