Catherine (Hakal) Butchart 1948-2020. Beloved wife of James Butchart and cherished mom of Christine and Jim, passed away suddenly yet peacefully in her home on December 29, 2020. She was 72 years young. Cathy lived life fully surrounded by people who loved and respected her pure heart, feisty spirit, entertaining stories, and infectious laugh. Cathy was a successful entrepreneur business owner of Buchards Jewelers for nearly 35 years. Cathy is survived by her devoted husband, Jim; her adoring children, Christine and Jim; her cherished sisters, Norma, Ruth Ann, Carol, Mary Lou, and Elizabeth, her treasured grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Henry, Jack, India and Eloise, and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Only private service will be held.
