On August 28, 2024, Chad Joseph Mullet, loving son, brother, dedicated father and friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 51.
Born April 14, 1973 in Warren, MI, to Richard “Dick” and Phyllis “Tootie” Mullet, Chad is survived by his two children, Joseph and Emma Mullet; his father and stepmother, Dick and Robin Mullet; his two sisters Miranda [Scott] Sedlak and Kristin Schwartz; many nieces, nephews, a great-niece and nephew; and chosen family Edie Call and Rich and Mia Hart. He was preceded in death by his mother, maternal and paternal grandparents, and an infant daughter, Phyllis Mullet.
Chad was a graduate of Benjamin Logan High School in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo. He lived in Berea, Ohio and worked in sales for Esber Beverage in Canton. However, his true dedication was raising his two children, whom he loved beyond measure. He was an avid lover of football, did not miss a Steeler Sunday, and was lucky enough to see his beloved Michigan Wolverines win the National Championship last year. He never knew a stranger, and always had the best story to tell on any given day.
A celebration of his life is planned by the family for a later date.
