CLAUDIA SMITH, age 78, (nee Cundy), made her transition at Strongsville Hospice on June 10, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Dennis, sister of Edwina Murray, Arlene Woodman, Donna Joseph and the late Jacqueline Cundy, dear aunt of Robin LaBonte, Wendy MacDougall, Rebecca Shinkoff, Jennifer Joseph, Suzanne Eversole, Sharon Vild, Stephen Murray, Scott Murray, Michael Murray and Lisa Patton. A special thanks to Strongsville Hospice, Jodi and caregivers at Generations Assisted Living, her John Marshall High friends, and special friends Carole, Helen, Pat and the “apple of her eye” nephew Michael Murray. “And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered.” In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Southwest Hospice Services, 18659 Drake Road, Strongsville, Ohio, 44136.
