DARLENE MAE (MOORE) FIGIEL, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
Darlene was the devoted wife of the late Walter Figiel and the loving mother of Alan David and Debra Susan Marie Figiel and Timothy Lee and Angela Darlene (Figiel) Watkins, Craig Ronald and Joan Marie (Goebel) Figiel. She was a proud and caring grandmother of Kimberly Watkins, Lindsey Mihailovic, Beverly Watkins, and Derek Figiel, and a treasured great-grandmother of Hayden, Alexia, Lucaidious, Dimitrije, Ava, and Gabriel.
She was also the beloved mother of the late Barry Wallace Figiel, whose memory remains deeply cherished. Darlene’s warmth, kindness, and steady love were the foundation of her family, and she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit.
Family and friends will forever remember her strength, humor, compassion, and the joy she found in those she loved most.
Services and burial details may follow the traditions previously observed by the family, including gatherings at Baker-Kensinger Funeral Home in Berea and interment at Woodvale Cemetery, according to the family’s arrangements.
Darlene’s legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Viewing will be Tuesday December 9th From 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Baker, Kensinger Funeral Home 206 Front St. Berea where a Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 10th at 11:00 a.m.
