Denny Lee Linville

Denny Lee Linville, 81, a longtime resident of Walton Hills, Ohio, walked his last earthly mile on February 16th, 2023.  He was born on August 30th, 1941 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Ott and Tollie (nee Conley) Linville.  Denny proudly served in the US Army.  He was a past councilman for Walton Hills;  a position he served with dedication for many years.  Denny was a daily fixture in his community and was often seen walking his beautiful German Shepherds by neighbors and friends.  In his younger years, he was a baseball commissioner and spent many summers raising his children on the local baseball diamonds.  While he was a great servant, friend, neighbor, and Dad, he will be mostly remembered as a doting and treasured grandfather. 

Denny is the beloved husband of Ronile (deceased); loving father of Larry, Teddy (Melissa), Mathew (Maria), and Sarah (Paul) McKelvey; cherished grandfather of Dalton, Mathew, Brooke, Rylee and Brayden; great-grandfather of Sophia; dear brother to 14 siblings, survived by sister Patsy, brother David (Sue), and brother Juan, and loving uncle to many.  

A celebration of life will be held on March 1st, 2023 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Walton Hills Community Center, 14660 Alexander Road Walton Hills, Ohio 44146. His life celebration will conclude with military honors.  He will be privately laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. #GOTRIBE
