Dolores Mary (Lisy) McKenzie

 Dolores Mary McKenzie (nee Lisy), 78, went home to the Lord on February 26, 2026.

Born in Cleveland, she was a proud resident of  Berea since 1971. She was a member of Christ Church in Columbia Station .

Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family; she spoiled everyone she loved and cherished every moment with them.  She loved her recent “adventures” to Tennessee, Niagara Falls, and Amish Country;  she soaked in every moment of every experience .  She never thought twice about talking to a stranger and made sure everyone felt welcome.  She was a great cook, enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, birds, reading, crime shows in the evening and Elvis Presley .  Her Saturdays in the fall were spent watching college football, her favorite team being The Ohio State University Buckeyes.  You could always find her at church on Sunday mornings, and her strong faith in Jesus was what got her through the hard days.

Preceded in death by her Parents Louis and Evelyn Lisy.   She is survived by her devoted Husband, Richard McKenzie Sr ; her  beloved Children: Laura von Ahn (Husband, Erick von Ahn) , Richard McKenzie Jr. (Fiancée, Rebecca Seelbach) Mary McKenzie-Nason (Husband, Scott Nason) and William McKenzie (Wife, Cathy McKenzie); her cherished Grandchildren: Lily, Samantha, Amber, Amanda, David, Jonah and Caleb; Her precious Great grandchildren: Grace, Rylee, Billie, Franklin, and unborn Baby Boy.

Pastor Katie Brown will conduct a Celebration of Life service on Saturday  March 14th, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Christ Church 23080 Royalton Rd Columbia Station 44028.
