Donna L. (Hinkle) Bluhm

Donna Lynn Bluhm, age 72, of Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away on August 29th, 2024 at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice. She was born on September 16th, 1951 in Painesville, Ohio to Elmer “Lyle” and Helen Hinkle.

In 1979, Donna married Timothy, and together they had three children. She is survived by her spouse Timothy “Tim” Bluhm; children, Matthew “Matt” (Emerald “Emmy”) Bluhm, Kristin (John) Israel, and Laura (Eli) Smith; grandchildren, Anna Israel, Joel Israel, Micah Israel, Rebekah Israel, Noah Israel, Abigail Israel, Coraline Smith, Dalia Bluhm, and Oren Bluhm; sibling Patricia “Pat” (Daniel “Dan”) Reinicke. She was preceded in death by Elmer “Lyle” Hinkle (father), Helen Higgnett (mother), and Leroy “Jim” Higgnett (stepfather).

Donna was known for her dedication to family and her kind heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching General Hospital, and making her family laugh. Donna graduated from Berea High School in 1969 and continued her education toward two master’s degrees at Ohio State University, Bowling Green State University, and Ashland University. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and made everyone she encountered feel like family.

Donna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday September 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Baker Osinski Kensinger Funeral Home where friends may call 10:00 a.m. unitl the time of service.
