Donna (Dawley) O'Brien

Donna O’Brien (nee Donna Marie Dawley), left this realm after 88 years, on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022. Donna was a deeply loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who was treasured by all who were blessed to know her. She was a retired teacher from the Berea City School District who was very active in Kiwanis and supporting youth in her community. Donna leaves behind her beloved husband of 61 years, George O’Brien, and their children and spouses, Kerry O’Brien (Katerina), Tara O’Brien (Robert Coulombe) and Kimberly O’Brien (Georg Scheffer). She also leaves behind her grandchildren Kevin, Alexander, Daniel, Ethan, Kathleen, Kylie, Sean and Ciara. She is predeceased by her parents Alice Opal Dawley (nee Santee) and Stanley Burnell Dawley, and her brother, Duane Dawley.  She is survived by her siblings and their spouses Dorene Larkey (Ron) and Donald Dawley (Jane) and Duane’s wife, Nancy Dawley, and nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held at 12 pm, Friday, May 13, at the United Methodist Church of Berea at 170 Seminary Street, Berea, Ohio. The Service will begin in the main chapel at 1 pm with Burial following at Woodvale Cemetery at 7535 Engle Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. A casual get together will follow at the Teamz outdoor patio area at 6611 Eastland Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Contributions may be made in memory of Donna to MichaelJFox.org in hopes that her fight with Parkinson’s disease will not be in vain. Funeral arrangements have been made through Baker Osinski-Kensinger Funeral Home in Berea,
