Dorothy Louise Sinowetski. nee Janmey, former resident of Berea Ohio and Rotonda West Florida passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024.
Dorothy was born August 19 1931 at her home in Linndale Ohio, baptized on December 27 1931, confirmed on March 25 1945 and married on January 19 1952.
Dorothy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dog mom to Buddy. She was a devout Lutheran who served God, her church, and community in numerous ways. She was a proud Red Hat Lady who loved to travel and explore the world. She loved to cook but also dress up and dine out. She loved her Jeopardy, crosswords, and creating art. She mostly loved spending time with her family and friends and listening to classical music. She went through World War II, her husband Michael go off to the Korean War, the Great Depression, and much more. Her Latvian heritage made her strong but also loving and caring. Sveiks.

(wife Nancy) and grandmother of six and great-grandmother of eight. Friends and family may call on SUNDAY OCTOBER 20th FROM 1-3 PM AT BAKER OSINSKI KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME, 206 FRONT ST, BEREA, OH. Funeral service will be MONDAY OCTOBER 21st at 10am at St. John Lutheran Church, 8888 Prospect St., Strongsville, OH, Burial to follow at LUTHERAN CEMETERY 4574 PEARL RD, CLEVELAND OH, Memorial contributions can be made to (Redeemer Lutheran Church, Englewood FL or Englewood Meals on Wheels, Englewood FL).
