Douglas N. Thomson

DOUGLAS NORMAN THOMSON, 75, passed on the 9th of January 2021. He was retired from the USPS and was a lifelong civil servant. Doug served in the US Army. After being honorably discharged Doug pursued his Ph.D. while continuing working for the federal government as a postal carrier. He was a loving husband and wonderful father. During Doug’s early years he loved traveling the world. He lived and studied in Spain. In his retirement years, Doug loved spending time with his fellow congregants at the Berea Methodist Church, loved his volunteer work at the Berea Animal Shelter, and maintained the rental properties he and his wife Victoria had accumulated over the years. Doug joins his loving wife Victoria in Heaven and is survived by his children Shawna Pinillas, Tara Mack, and Ryan Thomson (Laura), and grandchildren Nicholas Garlick, Alyssa Thomson, Rae Oberster, Julia Thomson, Aidan Thomson and Riley Thomson.
