Esther J. Edwards

Esther Julia Edwards, age 89 of Burnsville, went Home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2023. She was a long-time resident of Columbia Station, Ohio, and a native of Pensacola, North Carolina. She was born on October 16, 1933, to the late Lake and Eutiva Roland. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, James D. Edwards; brothers: Richard Roland, Gail Roland, Chuck Roland, Daniel Roland, Ellis Roland, and J.B. Roland; as well as her sister, Elizabeth Roberts.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pattie Edwards; son, Clayton Edwards; sister, Lucille McMahan; grandchildren: Deveron, Tiffany, Cliffton, Darryl, and Brent; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is being held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the McCracken Cemetery in Burnsville, NC.
