On Dec 18th 2022 Ray Salsgiver of Cleveland, OH died of natural causes at age 78.  Ray was born to Fanny and Norval Salsgiver on Feb 7th 1944 in Youngstown, OH. Ray graduated from Berea High School in 1963 and attended Baldwin Wallace College from 1964 to 1967. Ray married his wife Linda on Nov 6th, 1970 and they raised three boys Mark, Todd and Ryan.
Ray was a standout wrestler in high school and college; placing 2nd in state his senior year of high school and winning multiple conference championships in college. Ray spent a majority of his career between transportation management and carpet cleaning. He ended his career owning his own business known by the title of “Ray’s Carpet Care”. Ray loved photography and later in life discovered his love for traveling via cruising.  Ray is survived by his wife Linda, children Mark with wife Erin, Todd, and Ryan with wife Elizabeth. Ray was grandfather to Dublin, Conlie and Laney and men's best friend to dog Zoey.  Visitation will be Wednesday Dec 28th, from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Baker, Osinski, Kensinger Funeral Home. 206 Front St. Berea, OH 44017 where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. following calling hours.
