 Helen Virginia Wood hackney, 97, died January 10, 2025.

Born in Washington Pennsylvania, she was a resident of Parma. Helen had been employed with Pick n Pay as the Deli Manger. Helen enjoyed Traveling the United States with her husband.

Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Mary Phillips Wood; Husband Donald; sisters- Betty Mathews and Shirley Thomas; brothers Donald, Robert, Ronald and Leroy; grandson Jonathan, she is survived by her children Mona (William) Deceased Bill of Cleveland Ohio, Penny lee (John) Novak of Ft. Myers Florida, Michael Wayne (Kathleen) Hackney of Parma, Ohio, Larry Donald (Cindy)Hackney Of Texas, Cathie Sue (Gary) John of St. James Missouri; 16 Grandchildren ; 31 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-great Grandchildren

Calling hours for friends and family will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2025, from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. with a 11:00 a.m. Service with Pastor Austin Shaw at Baker-Kensinger Funeral Home, 206 Front St., Berea Ohio.
