John E. Scanlon

JOHN  E.  SCANLON,  born April 7, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, passed, May 3, 2020 of COVID-19 complications at home in North Royalton, Ohio. Air Force Veteran, owner and operator of Nolnacs Marine. Graduate of North Royalton High School, worked at Eaton Airflex , an avid Engineer his entire life and World Traveler. Son of Tom and Rose Scanlon, husband of Marlene, father of Jessica Scanlon and Stacy Arafat, grandfather of Violet Scanlon, Alexis Umstott, Mike Arafat and Ameera Arafat, brother of Tom Scanlon, Barb Reitzel and Maryann Baker, uncle of Michelle Turske Norton, Jill Turske, Ellen Lacy, Robin Moore Amy Scanlon and Kelly Scanlon. Graveside Service, July 10th restricted to family only at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 pm at Butch’s BBQ Saloon for extended family and friends to pay their respects.
