Joseph Haky Obituary

JOSEPH P. HAKY, age 84, passed away February 14, 2021. He was born in Mather PA, on February 8, 1937 to the late Jack and Katharine (Gerchak) Haky. Beloved husband of Beverly (Kolakowski) for 40 years. Loving father to Steven Haky (deceased) and James Kobie (Erin); and grandfather to Ronan Woznick. Youngest of 11 children, loving brother to Eleanor and late Mary, Pauline, Katharine, Pauline, Veronica, Sophie, Andrew, Helen, and Victoria. Beloved uncle and great uncle to many. Joe proudly served in the US Army as a tank driver in his youth. Joe loved the outdoors, devoting lots of time to hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was quick to laughter and good with a hammer. He was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan. Due to COVID-19 private services for family with burial at Holy Cross. A celebration of life will be planned in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
