June Davis Obituary

June Elaine Davis, was born April 13, 1959 in Berea, Ohio. She was the second born to the late Lewis Davis Jr. and the late Geraldine Davis. June attended the former First Baptist Church of Berea under the leadership of Reverend Comer Bohannan where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She also participated in the First Baptist Church Junior Choir. In addition, she founded and coached a dance troop called the “Little Sisters” also known as the “Berea Express” that included girls from the North end of Berea that competed in several school talent shows. June graduated from Berea High School in 1977. After graduating from high school, June attended Ohio University. Also, June worked for Metro Sales as a customer service representative and won several awards for outstanding sales. After retiring, June became a dedicated caretaker for her parents. June leaves behind her brother Kelly Davis (Myra) and sister Mary Frazier (Arthur). She also leaves to cherish her memory aunt Mattie Myhand, nieces Latoya Johnson (deceased), Natasha Davis,(Dejaun) Jasmine Bonner (Darian), Asia Frazier, Marcia Frazier, grand nieces Desaraye Johnson, Malia Perrymond, Alana Perrymond, and a grand nephew Myles Bonner. In addition, she leaves a host of cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 22 at 12:00 noon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church 200 Emerson Ave. Berea, Ohio where friends may call form 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Interment will be at the Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights.
