Karen R. (Shepard) Turner

Karen Ruth Turner (Shepard), age 62, of Berea, OH. passed away on March 19, 2025. Born on October 18, 1962, Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Ruth Shepard.

She was the devoted wife of the late Timothy B. Turner, who preceded her in death in 2016.

Karen will be deeply missed by her sons: Jarrod (Courtney) Turner, Bryan (Samantha) Turner, and Bradley (Heather) Turner.

She was the cherished grandmother of Sophia, Evelynn, Jaxon, Adalynn, and Maelynn. Her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life.

Karen was the beloved youngest sister of Jeff (Julie) and Scott (Heidi) Shepard.

She will be remembered for her kindness, incredible strength (sometimes stubbornness), and unwavering love for her friends and family.  Karen lived a full life, always remaining positive even as challenged with diabetes, and sometimes one of her three sons, perhaps her husband once in a while.  She defied expectations, living much longer than predicted, and courageously raising her family against some of her early medical advice.

Friends may call on THURSDAY, March 27th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baker, Kesinger Funeral Home, 206 Front Street, Berea, OH 44017.

Funeral services will be held on FRIDAY, March 28th at 11:00 AM at the same location, with interment to follow at Woodvale Cemetery.
