Kathleen Marie (Shantz) O'Hearn

Kathleen  Marie (Shantz) O’Hearn, passed away Sunday September 25, 2022 peacefully at Southwest General Hospice Center. She was born September 26, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Josiah and Ruth (nee: Caulfield) Shantz.  She was a true and faithful servant of the Catholic Faith, showing her devotion for years of support to many Catholic parish missions. She loved her God and her Irish heritage. She worked for many years at Anderson International and enjoyed the love of family and friends and her husband Ron.  She is survived by her husband of 31 years Ronald Claude O’Hearn; Beloved sister to Mary Shantz Berkesch, (Christopher,deceased), William “Bill” Shantz (deceased), wife Patricia. Loving Aunt to Paul (Connie) Stanton, Loretta (Pat) Cannon, Theresa Custer, Michael (Tammy) Stanton and Milissa Stanton-Smith, Billy Shantz (deceased), Elizabeth Shantz, Timmy Shantz, Jenna (Chad) Ellis.  Great Aunt to Jason, Jonathon, Jessica, Patrick, Danny, Colleen, Melinda, Ryan, Samantha, Michael, Alex, Austin, Jacob and Logan as well as her great-great-nieces and nephews.  You will be missed by all Kathleen and we hope to continue your love of the Catholic Irish traditions you held so dear. Friends may call at BAKER-OSINSKI-KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME, 206 FRONT STREET, BEREA, OHIO, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 FROM 6-8PM. Funeral Mass, Thursday, September 29 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 708 Erie, Grafton, Ohio, 44044,(meet at church Thursday Morning). Burial at New Columbia Cemetery, Columbia Station, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southwest Residential Hospice, 18659 Drake Road, Strongsville, Ohio, 44136.
