Leo H. Chainey

LEO  H.  CHAINEY, age 89 of Columbia Station, passed away on April18, 2023. Beloved husband of Vicki “nee Reiter”, preceded in death by his parents Leo & Ruth “nee Kie” Chainey, and his sister Mary Kristoff (dec. John).  Brother to Barbara Green (dec. Robert), Uncle to 41 , Great Uncle and friend to many.  Served as a Marine in the Korean War from 1951-1954, Life Member of both the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 9520 in Brunswick where he served on the Honor Guard and as Adjutant for 10 yrs, and American Legion Post 91 in Berea.  Leo, retired from Donley and Sons and was a member of the Carpenters Local #435 for 55 years, a longtime member of the Ohio Tool Collectors, Mid City Tool Collectors and West Side Irish American Club.  Family and Friends may call at the BAKER-OSINSKI-KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME, 206 Front Street in Berea, Ohio, 44017 from 4pm-7pm on Monday, April 24th.  Funeral service at 11 am, Tuesday,April 25th Baker-Osinski-Kensinger Funeral Home.  Internment 12:30 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Family requests donations to Berea Animal Rescue Fund, 10015 E. River Rd, Columbia Station 44028.
