Linda L. Adkins, age 70 of Columbia Station, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 30. Linda will be forever missed by her greatest joy, daughter Jessica Ashley Adkins. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces Michelle (Don) Wohleber, Christine (Eric) Pawlak, Marianne (Eric) Latimer, her six great nieces and nephews, and all of her beloved friends she has made over the years. Born January 21, 1955 in Berea, Ohio, Linda was the youngest child of proud WWII veteran Floyd “Scoot” Morrow and Jeanette Morrow (Derivery). She was predeceased by her parents, brother Jack Morrow and loving husband Jack Adkins whom she married on August 14, 1984 and step sons Scott A. Adkins and Michael C. Adkins. Linda was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1973 where she proudly served as class president. With love of peace and a passion for social justice for all, Linda pursued a career in criminal justice and proudly served as a bail – bond agent for over 20 years in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties. Linda surrounded all that she met with warmth, kindness and grace. She saw the good in every soul she made an impact on and each person she interacted with. She will forever be remembered for her sense of humor, positive energy and beautiful aura. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her. Please join us while we celebrate Linda. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 4 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Baker, Kensinger Funeral Home 206 Front St. Berea, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. following calling hours. Interment will be at the Columbia Cemetery.
