Linda Jane (Walker) Cathcart

 Linda Jane Cathcart died unexpectedly, September 23, 2024 at Southwest General Hospital. She was born Linda Jane Walker on October 21, 1946 in Dille, WV, the daughter of Mancil Walker and Lana (Ashley) Walker.

 Linda Jane graduated from Nicholas County High School in Summersville, WV in 1964. Following graduation, she graduated from Grace Beauty College in Parma. She owned a beauty salon called Charmins Fashionette in Berea until her health required her to sell. Her career continued at the Southland YWCA and American Greetings Credit Union.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Cathcart, in 2011, her parents Mancil and Lana Walker of Dille, WV, her Sister Pauline (Alfred) Truman of Atwater, and her brother-in-law Frank Bail.

    She is survived by her sister, Dolores Bail who resides in Medina Ohio, Nephew, Jeffrey Bail and wife Miriam of Valley City. Ohio. Niece Melody Williams and husband Richard Williams of Tiffin Ohio. Nephew, Rod Truman and wife Barbara of Stow, Ohio and children Seth and Lori, Great Nephews ; Nathan Bail and wife Laura and Children ; Sophia and Luke of Brunswick, Justin Bail and wife Dana and Children ; Bella, Austin, Layla of Olmstead Falls. Great Niece  Danielle Bail of Brunswick. Special life long friends  Judie Cunningham of Berea, Lynn Kay Frame of Dille, WV, Paul Jarvis of Dille, WV and so many  relatives of the Ashley and Walker families.

A  Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held Sunday, November 3rd at 1:00pm.  The luncheon will be held at J Bella Italian Restaurant, 12201 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda's honor to Big Union Baptist Church, Dille, WV or the MS Society.
