Marie Elizabeth Howard affectionately known as “Tiba”, “Red Bone”, and “Tute” was born in Spartanburg South Carolina to the late Walter and Floree Henderson on July 4, 1939. She spent her early years in Spartanburg and graduated from Benjamin Mays High school in Pacolet Mills South Carolina. Marie later relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1964.
Marie was employed at Farview General Hospital in housekeeping & surgery for 32 years. Marie had perfect attendance and retired after 32 years of working. She accepted Christ at an early age. Marie was a memeber of Second Calvery Missionary Baptist Church.
Marie was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late James E. Howard on August 23, 1958. To this union four children were born. Cynthia (Dwjuan), Debra, Anita, and James Dervin (Julette). She was a devoted family woman who loved church, Bingo, family time and a good laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Marie E. Howard leaves behind three daughters and one son, Cynthia (Dwjuan), Debra, Anita and James (Julette). Ninegrandchildren, Raymelle (Dominique), James Jr (Christen), Willie, Mae, Terrell, Shawna, Julian, India and Marcia. TenGreat Grandchildren, Eryanna, Lyric, Shila, Makila, Lorenzo, Raymelle, Marie, Terrell Jr, Zion and Ava.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 22 at 11:00 am. at the Second Calvary Baptist Church 12017 Emery Ave. Cleveland 44135 where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
