MAJORIE ANN (DAVIS) MASON, Mother to Scott and Bruce Mason, Mother-in-law to Terry Novak Mason and Tracy Mason. She was lovingly known as “Grammy“ to her grandchildren, Bridgette [NYC], Wes [Boston} and Renee [RI] Mason. Known as Aunt Mickey to her favorite niece, Penny (Packard) Harrington.
Mickey passed at the age of 99+ years, comfortably at home in Berea, September 2nd, 2022. Predeceased by her baby daughter Gayle Lynn, loving sister Jane Packard and brother-in-law, Roy Packard; step-brother George Durfee, husband of 25 years, Bill Mason and baby grandson Christopher Mason. She appreciated all of the performing arts. Last month, Bruce and Tracy took Mickey to enjoy the Glen Miller Band at Severance Hall. Mickey was the consummate lady; kind, optimistic, beginning each day with a grateful heart. She enthusiastically led a Christian life and was a long-standing member of the PEO Sisterhood. She was a 50-year member of St Thomas Church. She worked for many years at Baldwin Wallace’s Ritter Library and then the BW Executive MBA Program. She has left us with high standards… And you can bet, Frank Sinatra is waiting for her.
A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Friday, September 9th,10:30. Donations may be made to: St. Thomas Church Office, 50 E. Bagley Rd., Berea, OH. 44017.
