Melvin Edward Wilk

Melvin Edward Wilk, 83, passed away August 16 , 2025.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a resident of Brunswick since 1988 and a United States Army veteran.  Melvin had been employed with Dworkin as a  Truck Driver, retiring in 2010 He was a member of Brunswick United Methodist Church. Melvin enjoyed Woodworking and working on anything Mechanical

Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Stella his sisters Viola Maruska , Shirley Jones and Diana Noe, he  is survived by his Wife of 35 years Renate. His Children Mel Wilk Jr., Robyn (Richard) Blankenship, Jeff (Amy) Wilk, Crystal Bogdan and Pete (Jaclyn) Bogdan his Brothers Edward (Helen-dec) Wilk, Dennis (Darla) Wilk, Stan(Gerry) Wilk and Ricky (Sharon) Wilk . Grandchildren Cara Eckels, Ethan Eckels, Brayden Eckels, Ciera (Cody) Shope, Faith Blankenship, Jacob (Racheal) Wilk and Haley Wilk. Four Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many Cousins.  

A  Memorial visitation will be held at Brunswick United Methodist Church 1395 Pearl Road Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Visitation on Saturday August 30, 2025 from 11:00 to 12:00 P.M. A Celebration of life will be a 12:00 P.M with Pastor Matthew Merriman with  a Luncheon to follow.
