Michael H. Hagen, 72, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on April 20, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and bone cancer. Born on February 23, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, Mike’s life was marked by his love of his family, his kindness, and his selflessness.
Mike graduated from Columbia High School in 1971, where he excelled in multiple sports and was the Homecoming King. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Baldwin Wallace and later received his Doctorate of Dental Science from The Ohio State University. In 1978, Mike earned a direct commission as a dentist in the United States Air Force and served honorably while stationed in Plattsburgh, New York. After his service, Mike returned to Ohio, opened his own dental practice in Valley City, and then to Medina where he retired.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife Judy (nee Labaj), his children Melanie Kincaid (Mark), and Jeff Hagen (Elisa), his stepchildren Ryan, Taylor and Zachary, his mother Ruth, his brothers Dan (Lynn), and Dave (Sue), and his three cherished grandchildren Mars, Hank, and Willie. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Don.
Mike was an avid golfer and found great joy on the greens, enjoying the game with friends and family alike. He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and love for those closest to him. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course 9445 Brecksville Road in Brecksville, Ohio.
