MILTON O. FRIEDRICH age 90, beloved husband of Shirley “Jean”, dear father of Julie Butler (Vern), Larry Friedrich (Marina) and Leslie Sorbello (Anthony), son of the late Oscar and Alma Friedrich, brother of the late Enid Petzke and Ruth Taylor, loving grandfather of Todd (Erin) Butler, Keli (Jody) Helman, Jesse Butler, Nicole (Randy) Roff, Joseph (Angela) Sorbello, David (Ivy) Friedrich, Michael (Greer) Friedrich, Stephen Friedrich, Billie Friedrich, Jeremiah Friedrich and Hope Friedrich, great grandfather of 10. Milt was born in Berea, Ohio where he lived his entire life. Milt served in the USAF as a mechanic for B29 bombers from 1952-1956. He truly loved his time in the service and was recognized recently for that service. He worked at The Cleveland Twist Drill Company as a CNC operator until his retirement in 1996. Milt had a terrific sense of humor, always ready with a story or quip, right up to the very end of his life. Milt had a love for all types of music which he passed down to his children. He played the piano and his beloved accordion at most gatherings which everyone loved and looked forward to. He loved NASCAR and racing and kept a collection of taped races which were very special to him. He kept his mind sharp in later years by doing puzzles and word jumbles. Until recently he loved keeping up with family on Facebook and was an articulate texter. Friends may call on Monday December 12 at the Baker, Osinski, Kensinger Funeral Home 206 Front St. Berea, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. following calling hours. Interment will be at the Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
