Paula J (Sterner) Tomsick

Paula (Pauli) J. Tomsick (nee Sterner), 78, passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2025.

Paula was born on September 11, 1946 in New Castle, Pennsylvania and lived most of her life in Berea, Ohio. Although she lived in Burton the last few years with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, Paula always considered Berea her home. 

Paula will forever be remembered for her intense love for her family and friends, steadfast patience, warm smile, and easy ability to make whoever she was talking to feel welcome and special. 

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Freda Sterner, and her husband, Rudy. She is survived by her sister, Sandi (Gerald, deceased) Woodward; sister-in-law, Pamela (Andy, deceased) Rauzan; son, Matthew (Naomi) Tomsick; daughter, Samantha (Dan) Ross, and grandchildren, Hayden, Ashton, Gabriella, Erik, Tripp, and Delaney.  She also leaves behind so many family and friends that she loved deeply and whom will miss her terribly.

Memorial Gathering will be on July 15, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Baker Kensinger Funeral Home at 206 Front Street, Berea, Ohio 44017.
