Obituary of Richard Lloyd Geyser

March 31, 1934 – November 1, 2024

Richard L. Geyser, age 90, passed away peacefully on Nov 1, 2024.   A long time resident of Berea, Ohio, he was most recently a resident of Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina, Ohio.

Following graduation from John Marshall High School in Cleveland, he served in the U. S. Naval Reserve for a number of years.  As a graduate of Kent State University, he then went on to serve as a Speech & Hearing Therapist at the V. A. Richard’s main hobby was playing theatre pipe organs both for family, and for the public at numerous venues.   He even helped to rebuild historic instruments with the Western Reserve Theatre Organ Society (WRTOS).

He was very active in the Masonic fraternity, serving as an officer of Theodore Breck Masonic Lodge.

Richard is survived by his stepchildren - Eric T Summers (Susan), Bradley L Summers (Lyn), and Heidi L Boone, as well as his children from his previous marriage - Richard L. Geyser, Jr. (Ann) and Raymond C. Geyser (Nancy), as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lucille C Geyser (nee Everett).
