Robert A. Kunes, age 77. Beloved husband to Rebecca (Beck). Doting father to Julie (deceased), Jason and Jennifer. Cherished brother of Roger (Mary), Tom (Kathy) and Dan (Betty). Loving uncle and friend to many.
Bob earned a degree in Fine Art from the Cleveland Institute of Art, a degree in Business from Baldwin Wallace College and was an Army Combat Photographer in Vietnam.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, fishing, canoeing and hiking. His love of the outdoors was shared by Beck with whom he took many great adventures.
Bob had the greenest thumb and looked so forward to planting season every year. His gardens flourished and he loved working his land. He and Beck transformed their backyard into their own private sanctuary that rivaled many parks throughout the city.
He created delicious meals and fun food traditions for his family and friends. Whether it was Prime Rib dinner on Boxer Day with his kids, campfire tomato soup, delicious liver and onions or his annual Czech Fest feast, Bob was an incredible cook and took great pride in all that he created.
Bob was truly a renaissance man with his many interests and he opened up worlds for people as he encouraged them to be their best and shared his vast amount of knowledge and talents.
He will be greatly missed by many.
