Robert Allen Peto

Robert Allen Peto passed away Friday March 27, 2026 at the age of 83 after a brief hospitalization at Fairview Hospital. He was born September 23, 1942 at St. Johns Hospital. He met his wife Diane of 63 years at age 11 and married 8 years later. Bob is survived by his wife Diane (nee Harwedel), daughter Lisa (Michael Kane), grandchildren Ava and Aaron, brothers Richard, Harold and Dennis and his 1950 Oldsmobile 88 ! He was preceded in death by his parents James, Mildred and Sophie, his brother James and his youngest daughter Crista. Bob was a mechanic for 50 years, mostly at Cadillac. Cars were a huge part of his life. He built street rods and never missed a Good Guys Meet or a Blue Suede Cruise. He was a long time member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. Bob is being cremated and there will be no services. There will be a celebration of life at Albion Woods Picnic Area on May 14, 2026 from 4:00 – 9:00. Bring your classic car.
