Robert R Reiss

Robert R. Reiss, 92, died on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on December 12, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Otto and Anna (Hally) Reiss.

He graduated from Rhodes High School in 1948. Following high school he married the love of his life, Betty (Mushat) Reiss on April 22, 1950. She passed away in 2012.

Robert joined the Army in January of 1952 during the Korean War.

After his separation from the Army, Robert worked as a pressman at American Color Process up to his retirement after 33 years.

He was a member of the Parma Elks for many years.

Robert was a loving father of  his 2 daughters Pamela (Dale) Erison and Jo Ann Reiss (Jane Romankowski); brother to, Allan Reiss; grandfather to Krista (Kevin) Foecking and Robert (Lisa) Erison; and great grandfather to Alanna, Michael, Mirra, and Sofia.

In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by his 2 brothers Otto and Richard Reiss.

Visitation will be held at the Baker, Osinski, Kensinger Funeral Home, 206 Front Street, Berea, on Thursday, February 10th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Robert will then be cremated and buried at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
