Rose (Fitch) Farmer

ROSE FARMER (Fitch) of Berea, OH went to be with her Lord on November 29th, 2021. Born November11, 1929 in Coshocton, OH to Roy and Christine (Carpenter) Fitch. On June 10th, 1951 she married Gene Farmer and was married 49 years when he preceded her in death on December 7th, 2000. She was a loving mother to four sons JEFFERY(deceased)(Becky), Jim (Bonnie), John (Andrea), David (Loraine). She had six sisters and three brothers all deceased Leroy, Glenn, Dale, Fern, Hazel, Christine, Mary, Jane and Carol. Loving Grandmother of ten Jesse, Michael, Jennifer, Stuart, Grant, Laurie, Cathy, and Tess. Great Grandmother to sixteen and Great Great Grandmother to twelve. Rose was a graduate of Coshocton High School class of 1947, she moved to Berea with her husband Gene and young son Jeff in 1955. She was a secretary at Ford Middle when she retired in 1990 after 22 years of service. She was a charter member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon and Elder, A member of Berea Womens Club, Berea Bonnet Belles, and DAR. Spent the winters as a “snow bird” for 22 years playing Golf, reading, and spending time with friends, going to Shows, did I mention playing Golf. Friends may call on FRIDAY DECEMBER 10, from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the BAKER, OSINSKI, KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME 206 FRONT ST. BEREA where Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. following calling hours.  Interment Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
