Shirley Jane (Howe) Taylor

SHIRLEY TAYLOR, 88, of Strongsville, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Howard for 48 years; loving mother of Sherryl and Denise; dear stepmother of Ray (Liz), Bob, Howie (Janelle), Jenny Dalton (Larry), the late David, and the late Sue; proud grandmother of 15 and great‑grandmother of 15.

Shirley shared deep and meaningful bonds with those closest to her. She lovingly referred to Tim and Avery as “the sons she never had,” a sentiment she also expressed about Chad, who held a special place in her heart. She cherished Jenny, whom she referred to as her daughter, and held deep affection for Jenny’s entire family.

At the family’s request, services will be private.
