Thomas George Solomon

Thomas George Solomon, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 2, 2026. 

Born in Berea and raised in North Ridgeville, he has lived in Strongsville since 1970. A United States Air Force Veteran, he had been employed by CEI, Niagara Mohawk, and Ohio Edison before retiring and forming Solomon Consulting. Thomas went on to consult, educate, and audit the next generation of power operators and dispatchers.

Thomas enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working on tractors, mowing the lawn, fishing, woodworking, researching political events, and forwarding emails. He was also an avid cook and enjoyed perfecting his chicken wing recipes. 

Preceded in death by his parents Elias and Mary,Brother Robert, Sister Elizabeth (Deak), he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Susan; Children Matthew (Valerie and Gavin), and Sarah (David) Sterling (Luke and Abigail).
