VERENA BERNADINE DAVENPORT (nee Shafts) “Bernie”, age 74. Entered into eternal rest February 14, 2020. Beloved daughter of the late Bernard and Hazel (nee Herron). Dear cousin of Loretta Juergens, Leonard Drager, Timothy Herron, and the following deceased Raymond Drager, Robert Drager, Richard Shafts, Faye Davis, and Donald McGinley. Loving godmother of Douglas Juergens. Cherished friend of many. Retiree of Southwest General Hospital. Bernie loved the game of golf and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2020 at 11AM at ST. ADALBERT CHURCH, 66 ADALBERT STREET, BEREA. Private Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Contributions suggested to Berea Animal Rescue Fund, PO Box 544, Berea, Ohio, 44017 or a charity of choice.
