Viola Neva (Henke) Garrison

Viola Neva Garrison, age 97 was born and raised in Columbia Station, Ohio.  She was the daughter of the late Neva R. and Oscar Henke.  She worked for 30 years as a medical secretary for Dr. Morrow DDS in Olmsted Falls and then as a medical secretary for over 20 years for Dr. Samanik MD in Berea.  She was the precedent laser eye surgery patient for detached retina for the Cleveland Clinic.  Viola was married for 58 years to the late Fred Lee Garrison and a loving mother to Donna Lee Garrison.  She is the dear grandmother of Ethan Lonsdale Whitaker and Megan Lee Trickler (Todd).  She is the great grandmother to Evan, Nora, Jack, Isabelle, Charlotte, Paige and Oliver.  She is the sister of the late Robert and Alan Henke.  She had a big strong will to live and was kind and very giving her whole life.  You would have been a lucky person to have known her.  A private burial will be held at the Columbia Township Cemetery where her maternal ancestors are laid to rest as far back as 1861.
