Virginia M Royer Nelson

Virginia was Born February 22,1930 in Buffalo NewYork. Her parents James and Mossie Wyker were both ministers. She atteneded Hiram College and obtained a degree in Elementary Education. She met Gene Royer at Hiram and they were married Christmas Eve of 1950. Ginny was a second grade teacher in Berea school system being nominated for teacher of the year in 1985. She traveled extensively. Gene Passed away in 1988. Ginny met and married Frank Nelson in 1992. Frank Passed away in 2022.

She is Survived  by her children Jim (Garnell) Royer, Mark (Linda) Royer and Sue Royer as well as Frank's Children Paula (Bill) Barber, Ray (Sivi) Nelson and Karen (Matt) Spiller Grandchildren; Alex and Paul Royer, Ryan and Shelby Nelson, Raymond Plain, Chelsea (Reyn) Mossman and Jack and Luke Spiller. 

Services will be on Saturday August 2, 2025 at 10:30 A.M at The United Methodist Church of Berea 170 Seminary Street Berea, Ohio 44017
