November 8, 1919 ~ October 20, 2021 (age 101)

Obituary

Vivian Jesse Buric (nee Barnes), 101, of O’Neill Healthcare, North Ridgeville, Ohio went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

Vivian was born on November 8, 1919 to Levi and Marvel Barnes in Kent, Ohio

She was a long time member of both Parma Assembly of God and Bethel Temple church in Parma, Ohio where she taught Sunday School. She loved family and friends, was an avid gardener, enjoyed painting ceramics, fishing and camping. She loved her husband and family and was a great caretaker and prayer warrior!

Vivian loved having her family around her during holiday times, she loved to travel and loved birds. She always enjoyed coffee or tea with toast in the morning as she sat in her kitchen listening to the sounds of nature.

Her dogs were very special to her including her show quality Doberman’s. She attended many shows where her dogs won. Making dough balls for fishing was something that was hard for her but she would make them because her husband loved to fish with them.

She enjoyed jewelry and looking her best, especially her hair. She was always surrounded by animated stuff animals which would make her laugh. She believed that cleanliness was next to Godliness and would make sure you knew that by pointing her finger at you and giving you that look.

Vivian loved the Lord more than anything. She would sing hymns in the kitchen as she was preparing large family meals. At the end of her life, she was singing those hymns she loved dearly with her close family.

Vivian is survived by her daughters, Anita Bernard of Avon, Ohio and Jeanette Buric-Bryd (Vernon) of Baltimore, Maryland.
