William J. Young

William J Young , 81, passed in his home on April 1, 2022. William, preceded in death by his beloved wife LaVerne, was the loving father of William H. (Dawn) and Rebecca Todd (Keith), dear grandfather of Jessie, Jakob, Dalton and Shane Todd, brother of Terry Young (Evelyn), half-brother to Barbara Taylor, beloved uncle to Eva, Tracy, Kelly and Michael and dear brother-in-law to Jeffrey Bates.

An active National Propane Gas Association member for more than 45 years, Young participated on the Technology, Standards and Safety Committee for more than three decades and served on numerous NFPA committees for more than 25 years. He also logged more than 45 years of service on American National Standards Institute committees.

Bill received the coveted Propane Hall of Fame award by LP Gas magazine, given to a select few who help establish, advance and grow the propane industry. Bill loved his work until the end
